Safe to not water cool?
i have an oil and water cooled T3 off from a volvo andi was wondering if it would be safe to just oi;l cool it and not run anything through the water part of the center section just out of simplicity. It seems the turbo wasnt running water through it before because it is all rusty inside of watercooled section.

Yep, you'll be fine. It does help with turbo life, but it will be perfectly fine not running coolant to it. Just try and let the engine idle for 2 minutes or so before shutting it off, or look into a turbo timer.
