Default safe compression ratio

i'm goin to boost my d15b2 and i was wondering if its ok to boost about 8 psi with the 9.2:1 CR..(i'm planing on getting a new head gasket and head studs) thanks alot guys

have you done a compression check yet? if all the numbers are +-15psi from 185psi your fine (9.2*20=185)
