SAFC HELP

ok well i just got my safc today and was looking over the instructions and man they left me feeling stupid. ok i havent put the kit in the car yet so i want to learn this thing first. ok first when i start the car for the first time will the default settings be ok to at least run the car or will i have to program it before i start it? does anyone know of and easy step by step procedure with pics for setting this up with a dseries motor? if i adjust boost will i have to recalibrate the safc or will it adjust automatically? as you can see this thing has me hella confused and the chart that came wiht it is in japanese so that really doesnt help. thanks guys for any tips...

Re:SAFC HELP

Check out www.thedropshop.tv I think it is..

Check out thier step by step on setting upt he VAFC (Same as the SAFC but with VTec) and compensate for no boost, and smaller injectors.

Otherwise, the only thing I can think of you doing is poking around online. I haven't really seen people use it without boost.

Re:SAFC HELP

Well, if you're waiting until you install the turbo and the injectors, just read over TheDropShop's how to.. they show you how to set it up for boost. Then just tune it to your application.

Re:SAFC HELP

Well, I used to thing that it didn't, but Johnny Quest sort of "educated me" I guess on how it works.

I've never owned one, only have friends who have them, and from what they told me it didn't. But what Johnny says, it does. He seems intelligent, so I'd probably go with it..

Re:SAFC HELP

when you increase boost, to the safc hack it is thinking that before you only had 80% throttle or whatever and now you you are flooring it. basically when you increase the boost with the hack it increases what 100% throttle is.
