so i could here this knocking arounf my engine bay area and figured it was just my exhaust bolt getting loser and loser cuz i dident use the correct bolts for the header to cat back. so it getts louder and louder and i just start to care less and less.so im driving one day and the car just dies far from my house. so i start it back up and walk up to the engine bay and decide that it is a rod knock for sure and just to drive it as fas as i can. so i get close enough to my house and dont really care for it so im going maybe 20mph and decide to put it in nuuetral and blow it up. so i dd so and not long after 4500 rpm smoke was flying out of my hood and i was in my car laughing almost as hard as i could. its an a6 that burt oil like crazt but was full at the time. well untill it was all over my engine bay. anyways heres a picture. im bored. im gonna put the b7 i got lying around in untill i get my b series head gasket for the turbo b series to go in. but untill then turbo d15b7 time.

I don't understand what's the point of ruining a perfectly good block Really wouldn't have been all that hard just to fix the motor ya know :P

 

i really could care less about this motor blowing. it was just a motor to drive around on till i got my b16 head gasket i needed. i have another d15b7 in my backyard and a turbo and manifold i could use but i think im getting a ls motor this week and im just gonna rock that till i can boost it. probly sell the b16. or save it for when the ls goes. man i hope it doesent blow.

 

hmm.....blowing a motor in the mean time waiting to get a b16 headgasket......i didn't know headgaskets were so expensive
