Default Saab 9-3 turbo question.........exhaust housing swap?

The turbo I am going to use is in good shape. Its off a 9-3 Saab. I believe it is a T3.

I am getting it back this afternoon so I will take pics and show you guys what I mean.

Heres the thing. The exhaust housing is different than one I have seen before, the outlet looks like a ball and socket type thing. It has three studs and is about 2.5 inches in the center. For grins and giggles I fitted a 2.5 3 bolt exhaust flange to it and I could use that and some mandrel bends to fab a DP.

But.

I would like a cleaner look. Can I swap a exhaust housing from another Saab 9-3 to it and use that with a pre fabbed DP with the T3 flange?

Wrap it in heat wrap and it would look alot cleaner than any crap I could make.

TIA

Chris

Staying with the internal wastegate.

How are you doing you DP?
