S2K boost project

OK so i have been wanting to start this for a while now, but have been puttin it off so i think now is the time to make a list! I have a 2001 S2k i want to boost it for big big power, 450+ to the wheels....hopefully over 500HP. I will build the rear end and stuff as well. My question is what should i get, pictons rods compression ratios, sleeves who makes the best or most effective stuff....intercoolers turbos any suggestions and or help would be great. thanks in advance! This will just be my shopping list! :)

Can't go wrong with Darton sleeves. Pauter Rods, Endyn roller wave pistons. have them made to a 9.1 cr since your going to turbo the piss out of it. there is a multitude of turbos you can choose from depending if you want the kick in the ass to be higher or lower in your rpm band. Just make sure its a ball bearing turbo. get a front mount intercooler that can flow a lot of CFM.

but the best thing on your shopping list should be a thorough read through of Maximum Boost by Corky Bellhttp://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...books&n=507846, And a daily read through of the forced induction Forum on HMThttps://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/index.php?board=2

Seriously, a lot of questions i had were answered just by clicking and reading. a lot of times there were questions answered that i hadn't even thought to ask yet. You should donate because i told you to.https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...threadid=15793

yo, that'll be a freakin sweet car with some boost! i think you can get 400 whp on it w/o building the internals or any of the transmision, except for the clutch will you'll have to replace with a race clutch. ----, if my civic si came with 135whp and i got 260whp outta it on 10psi. i'm sure you can get 380-400whp w/10-11psi on the S2k engine. civic si=1.6liter b16 s26=2.2l i think? meaning that a bigger engine will produce a greater difference in horse power from stock hp with the same boost psi cause it's gonna stil be the same psi, but a much greater quantity of air/fuel will be burned off. definately 400hp.

I say 7.5:1 compression and you can make 500hp on pump fuel easy.
