runnin hot while in full boost

Re: runnin hot while in full boost
Venting your hood? seriously? For typical setups that just sounds pointless as hell to do
Try settign the fan to run constant. Might not help at all since your ---- should be on while your driving around and ----.
Another note: is your fan pulling air from the radiator, or blowing air onto the radiator? If its ever been changed or rewired and the wires hooked up backwards, the fan will move air different. Correct way: fan should pull/suck hot air from the radiator.
I probably got a million other suggestions but they are either far to obvious to name or something is missing here.

Re: runnin hot while in full boost
you should have no need to raise your hood.
most of what complex said about airflow is regurgitated jd preach so I'd take heed of it.
you should also have no need to wire your fan on constant as a fan will not miraculously move more air than your car at whatever speed your car is under boost, unless you're somehow complaining about hitting boost while sitting at a stoplight where a fan is useful. Unless your rad is blocked again as mentioned above.
Check your ---- for mechanical problems:
blocked airflow,
headgasket issues,
pinhole coolant leaks (one of these ******* had me searching for a month),
exhaust or downpipe/turbo just too damn close to your cooling system,
and lastly do you just have a shitty 'tune' aka basemap? (I think lean burns hot?, too advanced causes many bad things among them headgasket problems?, and I think too retarded also burns hot? .... someone with a clue about tuning chime in here, I'm just another hack with access to software, internets, and disposable honda blocks)

So he should ride at WOT with his hood still latched but not closed down all the way?? Don't know if I'd push my luck with that ----...
