Default Run a 5 bolt downpipe with 4 bolts?

The bolt opposite of the wastegate broke off and is stuck in my turbine housing. I tried the craftsman screw extractor and that broke off in their also. Should I drill it all out and retap it or just run it with 4 bolts?

If it doesn't leak just run it.

there is 5 bolts for a reason or else there would be 4.

That's what I just broke off inside of it, I got it (craftsman extractor) out though.
P.s. They should have said in that other post that the extractor isnt blue, it just looks like it's blue in that picture, it's actually an unfinished metal color, I went to sears looking for something blue but I figured out what happened.

Its an exhaust bolt so naturally its not going to come out easy.

DId you heat your bolts when removing them or when you broke it off? I doubt the crafstman remove is going to take that out on its own...heat it up with an oxyacetylene tourch till its red hot and then use that crafstman remover.... if you didnt do that to begin with that is.

The 4 other bolts came out with ease, I think I'm going to just drill it out and retap it a little bigger.

This might sound stupid but did u drill a pilot hole first before you used the screw extractor?? If you didnt, you need to. Also was it the drill in screw extractor or the hammer in screw extractor? I just extracted a stud broken off on my exhaust mani on my ride the other day. The hammer in extractor worked like a charm.

Yeah there was a perfect pilot hole and it was the hammer in screw extractor just like mentioned on another post on this board about the exhaust manifold bolt.
