The RHB5 came off an older subaru and the TE04h I believe is off an 88 eclipse. I've read a lot of posts saying that the RHB5 was eaiser to work with due to its size and thats what I am looking for.

I was running the ihi on my a6. It was at full boost (8 psi) at 2400 rpms. It was fun for in town driving but on the freeway all it wanted to do was boost. If you are looking for something to wav fun with, the ihi. If you are looking to make a little more power, go with the TE04H. It will still spool at a pretty low rpm, and not give you as much wheeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllll spin. I had a hard time kepping my tires planted on my crx. Make sure that you do the moter mount fill or the inserts to help keep the wheel hop down.

The Chrysler Turbo or TE04H is equal to a typical small t3 used on most cars but has the funky exhuast housing and downpipe hossing sucks ***
I mocked one up and just really is a pain to work with imo
Turbo size is only part of the equation. A properly set up top end of motor manifold,throttle body,head work etc will make the car more enjoyable to drive and a more useable powerband
There is alot more to settin up a cra than just slappin a hairdryer on somethin

I'd roll with the RHB5 cause I've used them before and just like the quick spoolage and not waiting. Plus it's more street useable as on my y7 it held it's own when I had it turned up to 1bar. It made the car feel almost like there wasn't a turbo but just more powerful if that makes any sense? lol. Everytime I see one of those chrysler snails I want to claw my eyes out. That goofy 3 bolt compressor housing and that retard exhaust inlet flange. That damn cocked t3 flange and you can't really even drill it out to fit a regular T3 flange unless you tap your exhaust housing for the new hole you drill out. Just too much ---- you have to do. Most IHI RHB5's have normal compressor housing that don't use special adapters to connect the charge piping to or a air filter. The inlet flange on the exhaust housing is either a 3 bolt flange that is used on the wrx's and the downpipe flange is a simple 4 bolt flange. Is the Te04's o2 housing have the wastegate flapper arm built right into also?
