Retarded Newbie Question...

I would like an answer before being ridiculed...
here goes:
Why not just screw in an elbow adaptor where the oil pan drain bolt it and run the turbo oil outlet into there instead of drilling a hole?

since the oil drain is gravity fed it will not drain. the drain outlet has to be ABOVE the oil level in the pan to drain.
