Default removing mani and heatshield

I am in the process of removing my manifold and headers out of my 2000 civic si (b16a2) along with the stock heatshield. I have everything unbolted and ready to remove but the mani wont fit out the bottom or the top because the heatshield is in the way which I couldnt get out before removing anything. I live in florida so yes I have a/c which is big time in the way. anybody know any tips to help get the sucker out of there?

Thanx to some of you guys for the help. I dont mean to sound rude but if there are a few less obvious fixes for this problem that would be great. this isnt some easy little problem, Ive done all of the little obvious tricks to try and get it out and Im really starting to think Im going to have to get a saw in the tiny space I have to work with in there and start hacking the thing in half or start taking stuff out which I really dont want to have to do.
