i didnt sell it cause i went to fast and needed a cage...i sold it cause its time for a change...that car exceeded (sp?) all my goals for that build and then some (original goals were 350hp and 12.5's full street trim) the more i threw at teh car the more it liked it. the thing with the cage was, if im going to build something that needs a cage, it better be running mid 10's and be over 500whp (also full street trim) i just didnt see that happening, AND being reliable enough to take it to the track and do it CONSISTANTLY. this car ran mid 11's ALL DAY LONG. i didnt want to cage it and just barely be able to make it worth it.

i thought about buying a shell and dropping the motor in there....but again, how reliable would a d-series be cranked to the hilt, enough so to get me mid 10 second time slips......probably only do it a handfull of times before it let go....and then where would i be...sitting on a pile of parts and back at square one..

sometimes you have to realize that you are near the top of a setups potential, and at that moment decide if you are happy with it, or need more......i NEED MORE.

sooooo instead of parting it all out, i sold the car. its in a good home now (drunkinmaster1) and i have no regrets about it. i promise you the next setup will be faster, sexier, caged, and will run 10's with 500hp.....those are my goals, and so far i have never had a project that didnt meet or exceed my goals.

anyways thanks HMT for showin love to the 4dr and stay tuned for more...im not done yet
