Release Cylinder contacts turbo, HELP ASAP!

1 Attachment(s)
I just installed my Ghetto-D manifold and my T3 60/48 turbo on my y8 in my coupe. After bolting them up I decided to see if my release(slave) cylnder attaches to the block. It does not. It is a bolt's length off from being able to bolt up and the compressor is touching the nipple on the end. Other than using a smaller turbo, is there a way to get the cylinder to fit? A smaller or different angled one perhaps? Any help is very appreciated.

rotate the turbo the other way? put that cylinder on properly n see if it still hits.

I don't know much about the GhettoD special's but is the compressor housing supposed to be facing the passenger side? Or on the driver's side? Maybe there's a bit more room if you switch the turbo around.

He made it so that the downpipe can get around the A/C.

The cylnder won't go on properly with the turbo on. It hits the compressor side. It's a good bolt's length off of the bolt holes.

i think he understands that. put the turbo on so the compressor is towards the drivers side of the vehicle is what he's saying. it might remedy the problem, but you might have to make a new dp as well

Yeah, looking at that picture, flipping the turbo around will free up alot of room, then you can form a downpipe to fit and your slave cyl. will bolt back up. Making a downpipe with the compressor housing on the driver's side is actually easier than making one with it the other way around to accep AC. See where it hits (maybe the AC bracket) flipped around. You may have to do some trimming, but this looks like it will be "workable".

you can use washers to exend the slave out a little bit and enlarge the mount holes to off set it, not much but it might buy you some room to clear the compressor housing. You can also grind a little bit off both to get it to fit...

Do you think I could get it to work if I took the nipple off and plugged the hole? This idea seems much simpler since I already have a downpipe made. :-\

If you removed the bleeder screw, thats going to let air into the hydraulic clutch system, then you need to be able to "bleed" the air out :-\ no bleeder screw could make that a problem.
