Redoing the setup in my crx (pics)
Well i got sick of my old setup in my crx which consisted of
DOHC ZC
HF mani
BMC adapter plate
IHI RHB5
Conquest intercooler
Of course some homemade charge pipes with Homedepot couplers
450cc injectors
Stealthmode oil line kit
So on and so on and some other bullshit
It was a good first kit. I drove the **** outta this thing for about a year on 10psi, stock bottom end and all. When i took the motor apart it was all in good shape. It was tuned on turboedit by a guy local to me here in Raleigh.
Here are some pics of before.
Well this time i built the bottom end and left the head alone. Heres a list of what ive got so far and is installed on the car.
SRP pistons (stock compression)
Eagle H beam rods
Arp head studs
OEM Honda bearings
Cheap intercooler off ebay (which is not the size i ordered
)
HKS blow off valve
T3/T04E 0.63/0.60 A/R 54 trim turbo from Blaast
And some other little ----
Originally i had bought a log manifold but when i installed it and the turbo on the car it didnt fit to well. I would've had to take off the front suport piece where the hood latches down. I didnt like the idea of having to run hood pins so i made my own ghetto *** manifold. I hope it works out
Well here are some pics of the way the car sets now, and the manifold i made.
Here is the manifold i planned on using, someone buy this bitch!
All thats needed to finish this thing up is some injectors, map sensor, fuel pump, radiator and a tune. Im hoping i can get 350hp or more out of this thing. I guess i just have to see how it goes.
