recommendations on tdo4.....
my buddy is upgrading his wrx turbo and will sell his tdo4 for a $100 bucks. turbo still fairly new and has been recently ported. he says it spools up around 2500 rpm. im wanting to boost my z6. any comments or experiences/warnings would be appreciated.
also, my z6 has around 75000 to 80000 miles on it. swapped from wrecked car, old man drove it and new how to maintain his car. do you recommend getting new rings, seals, etc. money is tight but i dont want to ---- myself over in the end.

im running the wrx turbo in my y7/y8 mini-me. i just fixed a lot of exhaust leaks in my ramhorn yesterday and took it for a drive last night.. reving to about 1.5k rpm backing out of the garage i could here it start winding up
theres a guy scott making 201whp/199wtq @ 12psi on a stock y7 .. he gives me much inspiration hehe

cool, cool... what exhaust manifold do you recommend. i hear about alot of people putting hf manifolds on. would that have better flow than mine. also, what fuel management is better to use, ive been recommended several. cant decide which would be more effecient.

it depends on how much money your willing to spend. the hf mani/adapter plate is a great combo for a smaller turbo. actually i have a mint condition hf manifold and a brand new bmc adapter plate for the wrx turbo that i can sell you. i bought them and then found a deal on the ramhorn manifold i own before i had a chance to even install the kit.
let me know if you'd be interested

oh for fuel management i definitely recommend converting to obd1 and running uberdata

hf manifold and a trick adapterplate and i even have a/c. i'd recommend the turbo...especially for only $100. you'll know the turbo doesn't have much miles since it is so new.
i'll be getting rid of mine soon...stepping up to a t3 .60/.48 60 trim and nice log manifold, built bottom end, and head.

nice numbers!! my car is already obd1. how good are the apexi units. a good friend of mine has some sort of "connection" with them. im also buying gsxr750 ITB's for $100 so i need something that will also tune that. right now im running 2.5" exhaust w/o cat. to an apex M1 exhaust, do you think that will be sufficient for the turbo.
im definately interested in that mani/adapter plate. how much are you asking. this is going to be a few months down the road.
