Ran the turbo D16z6 sol again.... 9.5psi

Ran a best time of 14.173@102. I backed it up with a 14.2@100.6 with a 2.4 60' (i missed third DAMNIT!!!!). Im guessing if i wouldn't have missed third, 14.0 could have been in reach. The MPH in the 1/8 was certainly there. .
After I missed the gear I slammed the rev limiter and the car hasn't been running so hot anymore So i gotta do a compression test tomorrow.

The 14.17 was right after it was sprinkling, they started racing again so it track was a little wet....so 2nd gear was ----.

Overall im happy. My last was 14.3 as a best time.

This was on 9.5psi.

Here's the breakdown.....

R/T....1.695 lol (workin on the launch )
60'....2.316
330...6.253
1/8...9.367
MPH..80.77
1000. (not taken)
1/4...14.173
MPH..101.93

Back up with

R/T...1.214 (yeah)
60....2.427
330...6.299
1/8...9.365
MPH..81.24
1000. (not taken)
1/4...14.205
MPH..100.69 (hehe 69)

There you have it.

All in a del sol on street tires. (Good Year all seasons, stock suspension)

Questions comments, LMK!

14's suck, my best time is the same as yours 14.2 @100mph, but i'm only boostin 6 psi with a burnt out clutch and rich ass bottom end so it bogs like a mofo. up the boost to 12 and break in to the 13's.

I seem to have noticed that a "burnt out clutch" will not even hold during boost at all. i had a 1 month old new stock clutch in my civic and it started slipping almost 1 month to the day that i installed my turbo. It almost tricked me into thinking it was more wheelspin, but that smell is unmistakeable. immedately after it started slipping, it never stopped. It was replaced with a stage 3 clutchmasters.

10.2@135 WITH SLIPPING CLUTCH AND BALD STEELIES AND 3 CYLINDERS y0!@@!

well, imagine how bad mine is, it's the original stock clutch that had 70k on it when i boosted it and was starting to slip a little n/a, now it has 8k hard boosted miles on it, that's why i haven't raised the boost above 6psi. it actually holds ok under boost, it's just when i shift hard, it slips to redline and then comes back and catches, i could prolly knock close to second off with a good clutch.

THanks. 14's dont suck. What do you have a 2000lb hatch? I have a 2300lb del sol. The weight makes a difference. Also, a slipping clutch can be a good thing. It helps prevent spin on the launch lowering 60' times.

13's will be coming...

I ran back to back 14.1's on street tires. Times look very similar.(except the R/T) I had to. :D

Once I threw the nitto 555's on there, I hit 13.86 at 10psi. 2.4 60ft.

I cranked it up to 15 psi and ran the 1.91 60 ft. but then my homedepot coupler went BA, BA, BA, BOOYAKA!!!! ;D
