A T4 with a compressor side A/R of .50 will push more boost than a T3 with one of .50 correct? (sorry about the newbie question, but search turned up nothing )

 

the t4 will push more air because the turbine is way bigger.

a true t4 is a big ------- turbo!

 

Thanks for the reply, I figured as much... but there is still a lot of mystery for me to unravel in the land of the turbo.

 

yeah what he said. the whole Idea of a hybrid turbo is getting the fast spool of a small turbo, which is the t3 which is on the exhaust side, and getting the high cfm's of a giant turbo, the t4, on the compressor side. so it spools fast, and builds boost fast, and has high cfms.

that was pretty good for a 20 year old drunk kid huh.
