questions on b16a tranny with turbo

Hey, is it okay to use a b16a tranny on a b18a and run turbo...couple of my friends said that its not a good idea.. because the gearings are short or something like that..give me some feedback because if its okay to use then im going to send the payment out for the tranny...

b16a tranny=$250 pretty good deal i think...

yup, I really wouldnt worry about it. The b18a/b has a bad rod stroke ratio for high revs, and driving on the freeway at 60mph @ 4000rpms kinda gets annoying. but doesnt really hurt anything.

btw, their are a few differnt versions of B16a trans. But for 250 bucks, who cares.. get it! thats a damn good deal

that would be ENTIRELY up to you dude, if you like short gearing and turbo thats great.. but some people like long gearing with turbos.. It just depends on what you like.

I personally like short gearing.
