Default questions about z6 bottem end

I heard that the bottem end on any d-series motors was extremely weak and cannot hold a turbo running more than 6 psi. Is this true? Any info about bottem ends and max boost that can be run on stock motors would be apreciated.

if you have no engine management... 5 psi max. if you have an intercooler, msd 6btms/FMU's etc... 6-9 psi. if you have a stand alone fuel management system, minimum 440cc injectors and a fuel pump... 8-11 psi.

that info was from jeff's old FAQ. boost just depends on how well mantained your motor is and your engine management.
