try this get up to 2nd gear and when your going into 3rd gear shift at 5krpm and pop the clutch. if it doesnt grip right away then its the clutch.

Re:questions about clutch or spark plugs

i asked about replacing my stock clutch if i installed a turbo in my 99si & everyone told me the stock clutch would last a week at the longest. but if you don't feel the clutch slipping at take off or full throttle on first , when there is alot of load cause you're breaking momentum the it could be your clutch. & i read here that platnum plugs & forced induction don't mix. stock ngk plugs are the best for turbos & you gotta retard the timming 1/2 a degree per 1 psi & reduce the gap on your plugs a little- how much i can't recall.

im having a clutch proplem i think ,its a real pain trying to see if its the clutch or not,Unless u pull it out.lol.
Also Check your charge pipe +i/c could be getting a small leak that could be the problem two.Are u hearing a type of hissing noise? also check that bov is not opening under pressure.

and thats my 2cents :)

Re:questions about clutch or spark plugs

my clutch wont slip in first gear, i can rev the piss outa it and pop the clutch on a sticky ass drag strip and it still wont slip but as soon as i shift at high rpm's it slips. sounds like your clutch to me. ive never heard of spark plugs causing this prob before, that just seems funny to me. wouldnt it run like ---- if it was the spark plugs screwing up? just my 2 cents.

im thinking its your clutch too.. slipping that is. you shouldnt run a stock one on a turbo'd car anyways.
