I was wondering the specs of this turbo. Also what do u think about that turbo on a 90 ls teg, stock tranny and motor prolly 9psi? you think it will be ok? i got the trubo for 10$ of my buddy and its got almost zero shaft play.

The specs are .48/.42 Internally gated @ 8Psi, I think. I am running the same turbo on my 90 Integra GS, spools pretty fast around 2500, I am running 6Psi right now but it seems to run out of boost fast so I am in the process of upgrading to 8Psi. Guys here are saying that the turbo is to small but depends on the person I guess, you want stupid fast or reliability? that the way I look at it, mine is a daily driver so I am not under boost 100% of the time. Its wicked from 1st to 4th but once I hit fifth on the highway it sucks, but the boost is still there. I should have the 8Psi up and running this weekend and i'll give you an update.

im always seeing different psi setting for the saab t3's, ive seen 8 psi and others say that they are gated at about 5-6 psi. which one is it?

 

I had the internal wastegate on my T3 Saab turbo tested with a vacuum tester and it opened at 8Psi, but I am sure that they are not all the same.
