You don't need one if you have a good turbo. I bought 2 turbos for $30.00, self explanitory.

Seriously if its that big of a deal than spend the money and get one. It can't hurt anything unless you starve the turbo of oil

Whitey for sales rep of the month!!!!!! :D

I use -4 because it's bigger, so when people look under your hood they are impressed by the glare the steel braid gives off. 8)

Yup, too bad I'm pushing cheapturbolines.com's products. :P I'm sorry but I've gotta support Hotrex's oil line company ;)

So if you use the restrictor it doesn't hurt anything at all, but if you don't you can get it hurt, if it is pushing more pressure then it is suppose to.

If the turbo is in good condition, you don't need a restrictor but it's just precaution or for turbos that are about to give out....a turbo really only needs 5psi of oil at idle anyways

I'm a big fan of -3 for feed line, but -4 will be fine. As far as the oil restrictors, I'll have to agree with whitey, I've never had to use one on any of my setups. Even on my gf's car which has a modified oil system that puts out over 50psi just idling.
