Re:question about rain

what about a fmic? in the rain does that suck in water?
ive seen bypass valves for cold air intakes that open when the filter under the bumper is submerged. should i just not drive in the rain once my kit is on or should i just avoid puddles?

Re:question about rain

My filter comes off the turbo and bends down into the place where the old winshield washer res. use to go and I have the little piece of plastic taken out so air from outside is cramed in there. I actually relocated my Windshild washer res. to the other side so I could do this as well as water inj.

I've driven in terrible rain (behind cars, etc) and no problems with water getting in.

As far as huge puddles... I'm careful. And think about it... that HOT turbo gets submurged in water and it's going to CRACK from the rappid cooling of the water... trust me.

Well at least you're smart about trying to trash your motor. Still, go get you a filter just so something else doesn't make it's home in there.
