question about installing 450's

well there are 2 different types of seals. on the 92 and up civic, the seals are shorter. on an 88-91 the seals are twice as tall. maybe its not entirely correct, but i know thats how it was for my car

i have a '93 with a '95 JDM engine... but my seals seem tall. BUT, these are the stock seals. the stock injectors were using these seals...

well that didn't work.... crud.

anyone else have a success story about how they managed to reattach the fuel rail with the DSM 450s installed? to re-iterate i was able to lay it back on top, but with all the injectors pushed into the intake mani, the fuel rail lays on top of the screws protruding from the intake mani - but doesn't give enough clearance for me to put that nut on.

i push down and it shows the tip of the threads, but not enough to put the nut on.

any help would be appreciated here....

how tall are your seals? there are quarter inch tall and 1/2 inch tall.

take a picture and we can help. i just dremeled out my stock seals and popped em back on. your seal's arent sticking out farther than the intake manifold is it?
