Default question about d series

ok so i just got a turbo kit and there is no hole for the sensor that would normally go in the intake. the guy i got it from said that since it was OBDI he just took it out and taped it up and it wasn't a problem. is this true? it is being managed by a chipped p28 so still OBDI. any help is appreciated!

thanks

chris

um.....yeah......no there is no holes in the intake.....unless ur talking about the hose that goes from the head to the intake....in that case get a little breather filter for the head.....and close up the hole on the intake

i know hwat your talking about its the air intake temperature sensor.. no you dont need it. and if thats not it then its just a hose that goes from the pipe to the head for crankcase vent and you dont need that either just leave it disconnected either way
