PVC (plumbing) pipe for charge piping?
 

I've seen these use to make diy(ghetto) cold air intakes and they have worked really well, but will they worked for forced induction applications. I think they should take the pressure(if rubber hoses work) but I'm wondering if the temps (pre-intercooler) would be to hot for them. They can handle boiling water just fine. I also worry about the 90 degree corners. You know, maybe a sandblasting affect in the corners. You would have to use rubber connections to connect pvc to turbo, intercooler,t-body etc. But if rubber hose worked on probe gt and conquest why not pvc?

well thats more like radiator hose than just fubber hose i think, but rubber should be ok, im using some

Yeah I know the probe charge piping is like rad hose, but I wondering if plastic pvc will work in the eng comp/under pressure. thanx

that black piping used for toilets and drain tubes? dont use that crap, think about how much pressure your toilet can put throught that? They dont use those for the incoming water, there's a reason, too high of a pressure.

Use the grey ones
My friend is running on them for 3 month's now.
No problem
Just put some silicon seal or window seal where they mate and clamp it good.

There's a special cement to use, regardless of black (ABS plastic) or white (PVC), when joining the pipe. Some high temp silicone might be good when joining the pieces with rubber boots, but I have no problems.

Flat out, PVC works. Mike Sitar's 9.90 second 351W Capri uses PVC, I use PVC, and come to find out, some of the faster local guys use PVC (somebody named "Howie" with a Turbo II RX7 that's supposed to be low 12's). However, don't use PVC. Why? It attracts dirt like a magnet and looks like ----... which I like but most don't... therefore I steer you to the black/greay ABS pipe.

Well shipment to Europe ain't so cheap.
And I can't find any place that sells ubend cheap.
There is a place that sells mendrel bend peaces, but Stainles steel and one peace no matter at what degree it's bend it costs 25 bucks and it's only 4 inches
