heres pics of my 96 ls i recently finished. the thing is that the only pvc/abs ---- i used were 90* bends on each ends of the intercooler. the rest of the setup, i had piping laying around to complete it. but yea like its been said before, dont use pvc/plastic anything str8 off the turbo or thats shits def gonna melt. good thing that the plastic ---- is hidden cause i know i would've been bashed for using it.

oh and i bought the bends at menards for like $3-$4 a piece. I bought the ones with a 2" ID but they did have some in 2.5".

go to the ------- junk yard and find stock turbo piping from a few different cars and plumb it all together with couplers and t-bolt clamps!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!! Sweet Jesus on the bloody cross WTF is wrong with you?

Good for you, you're making 400hp on a 3.4l V6 with a $1000 turbo. I'm sure your aluminum pipes added at least 75hp, are they bling bling polished too? Most of these guys have less than 1/2 the displacement, and turbochargers from the junkyard, no ---- they don't have the same power you do, their intercooler plumbing has nothing to do with it.

Mild, stainless, Al, composite, PVC, etc. charge piping is rarely a restriction. I had mentioned in another post that 2.5" pipes are commonly used for 800+hp intercooler setups, so most PVC you can get isn't going to be a restriction.

Twin Turbo How-To
I linked to that earlier, did you see it? The PVC pipes and junkyard turbos limited him to 10.4 @ 132, tragic. All the PVC was replaced with steel pipes though, because they distorted.

To put camsshaft's post more politely, junkyard couplers and steel piping will ultimately be more reliable, cheaper, and easier to make. T bolt clamps are not necessary, but much nicer to use. Rock the PVC and home depot couplers if you think you have to, but know that at best it's a temporary solution.

I drive a 96 integra ls stock b18b with a STRAIGHT t3 .42/.48 50 trim i got for $70 not some $1000+ turbo bullshit. 200hp is not a detail of how well the car runs dumbfuck. Car idles like its supposed to, make boost and hold it like its supposed to, and drives like its supposed to all while using PVC/ABS w/e it is i have as charge piping.
