How hot do think the pipe is going to get. If your air is hotter than 150F you are going to have problems anyway. PVC is rated at 1600F before breakdown.

What do you mean by "breakdown"? I work with PVC at work and it becomes flexable WAY before 1600F. You can bend that ---- very easy. For example, if you stick a piece of PVC at the end of your exhaust it will become 100% flexable within minutes. That's not even close to 1600F.

Used PVC charge pipe everything b4. Lasted 2yrs, no melting. ;)

i did a test. i took a piece of pvc and a piece of ABS stuck them in boiling water.

the abs held hella strong the PVC was a piece of ----.

does anyone listen?

Where do you get ABS piping? I have sheets of ABS plastic at work, but I've never seen any piping. Plumbing supply?

bump i'd like to know as well, im doing a buget boost project my self, and am wondering about the chage pipes.. where can one fine this "ABS" (plastic, im assuming?) thanks guys

i found some at home depot and at lowe's
