Re:pvc pipe

I'd use truck radiator hose and straight pipe over that.

This is what I'm doing for the time being.

Cheap intercooler tubing

Re:pvc pipe

use ABS, it has a lower creep tempature.

pvc will sag if it gets quite warm..

Re:pvc pipe

I got a mix and match of hoses, pvc piping and a small metal pipe.
It works for me...running with up to 15 psi boost creep.

I've read before that when PVC gets hot it releases a chemical that is bad for your motor.

Re:pvc pipe

How hot do think the pipe is going to get. If your air is hotter than 150F you are going to have problems anyway. PVC is rated at 1600F before breakdown.

What do you mean by "breakdown"? I work with PVC at work and it becomes flexable WAY before 1600F. You can bend that ---- very easy. For example, if you stick a piece of PVC at the end of your exhaust it will become 100% flexable within minutes. That's not even close to 1600F.

Where do you get ABS piping? I have sheets of ABS plastic at work, but I've never seen any piping. Plumbing supply?
