Re:put the 9psi d15b7/y8 mini me on the dyno
the setup is:
stock d15b7 block
stock d16y8 head (gives me 10.6:1)
d16z6 intake manifold
95 ex/si tranny with SRR 4.9 final drive and phantom grip
i had a friend of mine weld up the manifold
the turbo is a 14b (was a t25 but i blew the seals)
the DP is 2.5" mandrel with a 2.5" high flow cat and 2.5" catback exhaust
the charge pipe is all 2" mandrel
the intercooler is a 2nd gen dsm (i like to call it a SFMIC)
some ebay Monza bov
450cc dsm's
and uberdata (the bin is posted on the uberdata forum)
here are some pics from the day it was finished
these pics have been posted before.
no the ic does not get heat soaked (unless i am in standing traffic) and yes, i need to wrap the upper ic pipe, because it does get a little warm.
total cost with the 4.9 final drive (it was 400 beans)
1300
