PSI on T3 Turbo

Re:PSI on T3 Turbo
Just save up some dough for 440 injectors. With tuning that'll reduce the detonation. Then U can run 10 psi until U upgrade your internals.
If U don't have an intercooler yet, then definetly change the length of your wastegate actuator to lessen the boost. If U have an IC, then realize that it'll probably take away 1 psi.

Re:PSI on T3 Turbo
i actually have 450 injectors(high impedance)from tuner toys and a johnnyrace car 5" intercooler. But now im thinking twice about the turbo set up because i want to keep my a/c because i live in the middle of the desert in texas and i read on another post that it could cause detonation, is this only when you hit vtec when the a/c is on or even if its off it will detonate?. Will the bmc log style mani clear the a/c? Thanks

Re:PSI on T3 Turbo
lenghtening the wastgate rod is an option, but not a very good one. The turbo will be super laggy, but once the boost is reached, it will hit pretty hard.
Save up the money, and go external. Not only can you lower your boost, but you also have the peace of mind knowing that your boost will stay put. Make sure ALL your vac/boost lines are secured with zip ties or clamps.
If you keep an eye out, you can find an external wastgate out there pretty cheap. I just picked up a Turbonetics Deltagate II for under 80 bucks. Works fine, but looks horrid. It also sounds NASTY!(<---in a good way)
