Default propane injection

Has anyone looked into this at all? either injecting it into the intake or actually converting to propane as a fuel. I have found some intersting info on it. Any thoughts?

No it works on gas engines also. www.importpoweronline.com has a kit they sell. I am also thinking of converting to just propane instead of gas. If anyone has researched propane kits or knows anyone running one I would like to see what you found.

aha That's LPG right?
Well here in The Netherlands it's widely used for years.
It's cheap and envirmentally friendlier than regular gasoline. Most gas stations here have it.
The thing is you need to get an extra gas tank in your trunk and extra equipment to run it and i was told that it wears your engine faster.... don't know about that though.
Sounds good, but I'll ask around about it. cause if it is so great I would see all the tuners here using it.

propane injection for turbo is good, less chance of detonation allowing more boost.
running propane as a fuel and expecting a fast car? I wouldnt be so sure.

I am pretty sure that you need a diesel to convert to propane easily. My Dad has 2 semi-truck winch(like a wrecker truck) trucks and one has well over 1million miles on it (dates back to when his Dad used it). Propane burns cleaner than any widely used engine in the world. So whoever thought they put more wear on their engine should tell my dad and his 2 trucks that.

That's what I was told.
They use it here for more than 10 years or even more on gasoline engines.
Here you can fill up your Propane tank just like gasoline at a gas station. It's cheaper to.

Propane injection is big with the 3si community lately (3000gt VR4's and Stealth RT/TT's for those who don't know) I have a video somewhere of a VR4 with propane injection walking a Viper GTS ACR from a roll. Dynamic Racing put out the video, so they may have more info for you.

i believe the octane rating of propane is like 130 or something nuts, but i believe it burns way hotter so u need ceramic valves.

anyone wanna correct me if im wrong.
