Default problem with turbo Laser

we just got this thing not to long ago...and it has the bov like redirected back into the charge piping...and when we unplug it the car boggs down and wants to die on us...i want to change the bov and up the boost because that the 1g bov will leak past 13psi. how can i stop the bogging

you have to leave it pluged in so it can recerculate back into the system. since it has a maf it regesters the air coming in before the turbo, so by unpluging it you are releasing air that has already been acounted for. This throws of the a/f mixture of the car causing it to bog. also get a greddy type-s bov it can be recerculated and it works good.

Uhh... it is easy. Get a GReddy type S BOV and you're good to go

You don't need to specifically get THAT blow off valve, just get any reciruclating BOV. Or crush the existing DSM one.

Move the bov upstream of the MAF and you won't have problems.

A guy down here runs a crushed 1st gen dsm recirc valve on his talon (same basic car) and his will hold around the 23psi mark. Anything after that though leaks like a bitch he said.
