Default Pressure testing charge pipes

Alright just like the title states. I'll be making my charge pipes very soon and wanted to know if there was a way to pressure test them.

I have to weld some of the bends together which could have small pinholes in them...i doubt it though exhaust tubing welds nice since its so clean.

Anyways anyone have any ideas if I wanted to do this?

the real way to do it is make a plug for one end and then make an adaptor to stick in there with an air compressor hose. then put the whole thing underwater to see if it leaks.

on mine i just coated all the welds with jb weld to seal them real good then i plugged one end and blew air in the other and put soapy water on the welds. the soap will make bubbles if it leaks.
ya it ghetto but it works for big leaks. i had none after the jbweld coating i put on there.

We just held our hand on one end and filled it with water.

Thank you for some ideas guys....

and I'll be using a MIG welder I have enough experience that it should turn out alright. I'll sandblast the welds after they are done to make sure there are no pinholes...

I'll probalby try the underwater idea. Anyone know where I Could get some end caps?
