Default Power loss after 5psi?

Well it seems while in boosts after 5psi the car just kinda bogs down and doesnt pull really. Up until 5psi its hard, then right after 5 it just doesnt pull. Around 5psi is when I'm pretty friggin rich and start lightly black smoking. Could it be because I'm so rich? Right now settings on the AFC are:

1k -38
2k -38
3k -37
4k -36
5k -36
5.5 -35
6k -35
6.5k -35

btm is at around 1degree per lb. I guess that could be it to.. heh. But it seemed to do it at like .75 too...

not too sure on that one.. Just got my tach working last night. MSD Tech took forever to tell me how to get the tach to work with the BTM on my car. its prolly in the top of 4k or beginning of 5k.

maybe it just doesnt feel like its pulling because your turbo stops building boost after it gets to 5psi, so once it gets to 5psi it feels slow because when it was spooling the turbo was creating so much torque.

also the sound of the wastegate opening can sound like a bogging sound or sound like your running too rich.

if that is the case, ive found that a good way to make the car feel and be fast is to run so much boost that it spools up all the way to redline

this boost doctor says turn it up!

it feels like the power just stops.. doesnt continue until I shift.. So I literally dont pull after 5psi... getting tuned this week so its not too bad. But it sucks.
