Those little shiny specs are likely parts of your piston!

 

oops sorry those litel pieces are cigie ash.
Was trying to balance the plug in an ash tray for the pic and it fell in.
Timing is set at 2 Deg. BTDC. at idle.
It climbs to 24 Deg by 2500 RPM after which its held there.
Maybe geting pushed back to 18 deg at 10 PSI
