Chip it and some new plugs.

That turbo may be a little big for a 1.5

ur suposed to use ngk plugs and it doesnt sound like theres a problem with your ecu if you were running with no charge pipes, it sounds like there is something else wrong, maybe ignition from what i can gather

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to use check valves with a greddy e-manage. That could be a large part of your problem. New stock spark plugs will run your car fine if you can't get one step colder ones quickly. And why would you get and safc for $300 when you can get your ecu chipped and car running perfectly for $75 (-------------)? If you chip your ecu, you don't also need an safc, just in case that was a source of confusion

When the charge pipe comes off, your engine is back to stock except worse-- now the turbo is only a restriction in the exhaust-- so the car is going to be slower than stock and sluggish as ----. And from my post above, if you have greddy e-manage hooked up properly and on the right settings, it should run your car just fine. And are you sure you don't have the greddy blue box instead of greddy e-manage? E-manage is tunable, has little **** on it and stuff, greddy blue box is well, just a blue box. But you still don't need to run check valves with the blue box, it splices into the map wire and blocks the ecu from reading the true signal. And no, the walbro 255 will not suffice to add fuel for your turbo-- it doesn't add more fuel at all-- it is your injectors that control the amount of fuel being added

And you need bigger injectors-- you're going to max out the stock ones very fast, especially at 6psi with such a large turbo. In fact you are running ridiculously lean any time you hit boost, and the back firing and sputtering is probably from detonation-- you should stop hitting boost until you resolve all of this or you will ---- your engine. If you have greddy emanage it should be tunable for the size of injectors (but stocks are too small) and if you have greddy blue box it is pre-tuned for i believe 310cc injectors.
