For the money i'd just get mandrel bent mild steel...it will be better in the long run...especially if you want to go big later on..

it can be done and ive done it on my car it keeps heat in though and gets soft after a long drive. its good for mock up / temp setup but aluminium or steel is best

BTW this was discussed liek a week ago you should really search
