Default piping 14b to intercooler in 96 civic

do you guys usually cut and weld the j pipe off the turbo and re aim it? this ***** retarded all these bends and angles.. anyone got any pictures of there set up in the same car/same turbo?

do you guys have to get rid of the washer fluid container?

how hard is it to rotate the compressor housing? do you just need to pinch the ring? if you do that how/where do you mount the actuator?

Check out the projects section on the menu to the left there should be a couple with 14B.For the housing you compress the snap ring for which you will need good snap ring pliers no cheap ---- and then drill and tap a hole or two to remount the actautor.

I rotated the housing on my turbo to make it a nice easy bend.
here is a before i did the rotation, notice the nasty bend in the hose

and after the rotation

hey im doing the same setup as all of you guys (at least the same turbo) anyways i dont have POWER STERING. this is what im doing, remove the washer fluid tank, and make your pipes similar to the one on the right side. i think its WAY easier then clocking the turbo. hopefully this makes since. ill post pic as soon as everything is done.

Why wouldn't you rotate it and point it straight down? Or wait, 14b's you can't rotate due to the WG only being able to mount on one spot on the compressor, huh?
