The WG fell off lol.
When I braced the mani I only braced the headflange to turbo flange. No WG support.
The WG almost fell off one other time and I ran a bead around it with my flux. It lasted longer than most of them lol.

No porting. Dont think its needed.

lol my waste gate dump tube craked on the elbow i welded it and now a new crack farther down the bend.. pice of ---- cheap metal pipe im about to weld a pice of black iron elbow for gas pipes on there.. :y

Anyway heres an update. The ching chong mani broke about a week or so ago. So I picked up one of the drag cast knockoff manifolds.
Putting my new charge piping on tomorrow. So the setup should be pretty solid once Chris gets back to me on when I can get retuned.
Port the WG hole on the mani or it'll creep. I run an HY35 and a 38mm on the same manifold and I was creeping from 16 psi up to about 19 psi at 8000rpm.

was just going to say that. I would also port the inlets has well. There is some very loose casting in those manifolds from the ones I have gotten. Nothing an hour of work wont fix. Save yourself from a nice chunk of china steel killing your turbo

Too late getting retuned tomorrow.

Ill save the porting for when I port a spare y7 head and actually put valvetrain in it.

About 10 am. Just make sure its cool with Chris.

I dont mind you coming. The more the better lol.

Hopefully I can lower the boost and make more power lol.

I want to at least match the 280 it made on the last tune. But Id like a couple more.

Not the head, the manifold.
