Love the cowl induction! lol. Cool setup, looks like the definition of HMT, looks like crap but has it where it counts. Nice hp numbers.

Why are you revving with no load to see boost PSI? What's the point of doing that?

Im gonna try and get out to atco as soon as I hear it opens. Which should be January. It would we sweet if a bunch of dudes would go and we all rent the track for a day.

Yea the cown induction basically started from a small hole for my rad cap to come through, then my wg started to hit it, and it got as big as it is now haha. Im gonna make a very small sheet metal cowl for it when I get the time.

my dad is buddies with joe sway jr., the guy who owns the track. Ill see if we can get a special discount or something. Do they even rent the track out like that? Now that i think about it, sounds way expensive. But lmk when your going, i honestly like 10mins from the track. Maybe the NE crew should meet up in the spring time at my new house. We'll have a big party or somethin:

Yea they rent the track for about $1000-1500 for a morning. Which is like 8am-3pm. My friends rented the track from atco a couple time for their bikes.So we will have to get 15 or more people. But its awesome cause you leave with like 50 time slips.

Yea we should definately try and organize a meet/track day.

Intercooler isnt small. Core 12 inches tall, 11 in wide and 3 inches deep. Not the biggest. But not small at all.

Yea the camera seems to work real well. Very easy to use. Christmas is great haha.

Yeah, I really cant wait to change the clutch arm. My foot is really sore. :X Im figuring that is why the pedal is so unbearable. My ebay trac bar was bowed so I contacted the seller (ETD) and they said they would make good on it, if not I may replace that also. It seems they have upgraded the end joints, and hopefully they arent as niosy.

Ahaha that is great that you've got the anti-lag dialed in. That car is the epitome of a sleeper. IB the 30-70 on it is quicker than a C5 vette lol .

can you explain the anti lag more in depth becuz isnt that way different than a studder box/ launch control (those dont really build boost) are you advancing the timing a lot?

Opposite...retarding and all the excess exhaust is spooling the turbo.


How did you get it to build THAT much is my question? I had it on a 42/63, the Launch Control from Uber and I could build only like 2psi. Be weary of all that heat/exhaust firing to build that boost with such an unreliable manifold. I forsee it cracking VERY soon from all the excess pressure.

Another bit of info came from Bone, the head cc volume for the y7 is the same as a z6 34.60.

Well aware that z6 and y7 Comb C's are identical. Part of the reason I choose the y7 head :y
Whatever the compression is. I dont care. I ran a 7.5:1 d15 and the thing ripped at 14 psi from a 42/48. Tuned by xenocron of course years ago.

I dont know why it builds so much boost either. Ill leave that to Chris.

I know the vid is dark as hell, but you can get an idea of how it roasts 3rd from it.
