Yeah, it's not my car, so I didn't make the decisions. And I'm sure we could have built the charge pipe w/o welding, but we're currently looking for an excuase to weld any and everything

i wanna weld too....but no one was willing to teach me, so i had to use JB welding.

Yeah, the welder is cool, he picked it up off the tool truck for a decent deal. Anyone can MIG weld. Yeah, our welds aren't NASA approved, but they'll hold air. I really want to learn how to TIG, but it's hard finding a good machien for less than $1500 that'll do most metals.

Whatd you guys paint your charge pipes with? Also is that oil drain/fitting custom? Thats really nice...

I think he used some hi temp engine paint. Didn't come out too well, probably from all the damn humidity here. Looks good from a distance though. The oil drain fittings were from a toyota (corolla maybe?) EGR valve. We were gonna weld it to the pan, but it bolt up nicely with some toyota 'Form in place gasket maker' (hondabond equivalent I'm assuming).
