Re:Pics of my Ghetto Homemade Turbo Lancer
thanks for the comments. btw, semmos is correct, it's really a 4 cylinder engine just like rickys2000si mirage. the exhaust ports are really close to each other that's why we decided to just join the 1&2 and 3&4 ports together. but i'm planning on doing a new equal length and this time mandrel bent pipes/elbows.
my fuel management isn't really that great at the moment. just installed the 240's without anything to tune it by. i'm still waiting for the SAFC2 i ordered, then i can replace the injectors with the 390cc i also have. but the 240s can seem to handle up to 6psi of boost although it runs rich at the bottom end. i'm also planning on getting a honda MAP sensor and replacing my stock one when i get the SAFC2. the honda MAP sensor can detect boost and my stock one doesn't. keep you guys posted when i have installed the new fuel management....

I think you're mistaken.
It can't detect boost.
You fool it with the AFC so it won't read boost by reducing the map's voltage, it thinks it's still reading vacume till it hits 9-10 psi it will read 1 bar(atmosphere) after that the check engine should come one.

Semmos,
yes the honda MAP sensor can detect boost up to 9-10 psi, don't know exactly the number, i know i read it from one of JD's post. anyway, the reason why i'm planning to replace my stock MAP sensor is because it is a true blooded 1Bar MAP sensor. meaning at 1Bar or atmospheric pressure, it ouputs 5V. This is also the reason why i don't need a check valve, the ECU is already designed to accept a maximum MAP sensor voltage of 5V unlike the honda's 3 or so volts. By replacing my stock MAP sensor with a honda, i'm basically moving the atmospheric point to 3V so i have 2 more volts to play with during boost. This is where the SAFC2 comes in for fine tuning.
btw, i'm currently not using any checkvalve of some sort at 6psi and there's no CEL.
