Thanks for all the good feedback. I'll be starting a new thread here soon. It'll be a winter long project. Built motor with forged internals. Megasquirt running COP. A new manifold and a Holset HX35. Aiming for 350whp. Would like to see 400, but that sounds like more trouble than its worth seeing as there is not really any viable options for a stronger tranny.

I built a turbo BP with over 448hp and 450tq and was using a stock tranny. just would rip up the stock axles every now and then.
that was for a drag only protege that i built for CorkSport so the trans got 6k drops on it all the time.
I daily drive a 92 escort thats boosted and been daily driving it for about 5 years now.
