What im going to do is get the polyurathane mounts and not use a front. I talked to a lot of people w/ boosted ludes that dont got a front motor mount. They said its almost impposible with the size of the turbo im running to keep a decent mount. thanks for all the help guys!

the front mount is one of the most important mounts on a ff 4 cylinder. :P

Do not cut the mount completely off.. You can grind the ---- out of it no problem... the strength of the mount is where it is spot welded... just add some welds or dont touch the stock welds. Also you can run like 4 layers of screen instead of a filter... works great

who sez?

fact is the rear mount will stop any movement. so many guys dont use the fronts..

haha, my car doesnt even have a front mount...only and upper and lower (both of which are on the passanger side) :P

good, you get 10 cool points for not having a front mount,

now. lets substract you 30 cool points for not having a honda

you only have -20 cool points to get rid off.

whoever said this board was just for hondas? theres a buch of other makes of cars on here. its called "home made turbo", not "honda turbo" :P hater

I decides who gets cool points.. lol,

I dont have a front mount on my car either, just make sure the other mounts are reinforced (poly inserts) you should be ok.
