here's a Q, did you have to "squish" the pipes at all to match the ovals of the flange?

they are really hard to do but its do-able.

u gotta stay on it with a torch for like 10 min then take a big sledge to the ends. make sure u hit it i the right spot or your piece could be garbage..
i port matched mine pretty good that way.. only took an hour.

when i made the fullrace knockoff i just put the pieces in a big bench vice and it ovaled out quite nice with out heat.

Looking nice but isnt that flange a bit thin? 6 or 8mm rigth?

i used 10mm thick iron on this:

as an alternative i have also bougth a manifold from a different car with a tubular mild steel manifold wich i am in progress with modyfying for fitting my engine and the turbocharger.
This one has a 12mm thick flange.

pic shows the manifold in untouched condition.

even though this post is old, i was wondering if you or anyone else could build me this manifold, preferably for under $125. the only place around here that sells those pieces wants way too much for them.

Since the ends of the pipe were too hard to smash to make them oval I tacked the pipe to the flange then I had to fill the inside of the flange (head side) with welds. I then ported the welds again to smooth the transition between the oval(flange) and the weld els(pipe).
