Default phillstubs tial style bov and compressor surge

So I bought a bunch of stuff from philstubs, and the bov will not open, the spring seems pretty stiff, is there anyway to make the spring less stiff, can i cut it? Does anyone have any hmt solutions. Thanks.

Every chinese BOV I've come in contact with we had to pull the spring out and clip a coil or two off.

Just pull it out, clip a small amount off, reassemble, test.
Repeat.

Go in small increments so that you don't cut off too much.

Just ordered an 11 psi spring for $27! Just alittle frustrated, last time I go CDM! It just is not worth it.

My Tial BOV also isn't even opening at idle. Even reving it up it's really slow on the reaction. Opening late in which will cause compressor surge. This is with Tial 11psi spring in the bov. Since I'm a cheap *** I just start cutting off a coil at a time of the spring until it open and close whenever I rev it and let off. I haven't ran it yet but I'm sure it'll work 100x better than before.
