I recorded these sound files today in my car.. It has a 1st gen talon BOV on it.. The first one is driveing down the road and the second is just parked reving it a bit..

What turbo and how much boost?

 

It's an RHB5 running 7.5 PSI on a DOHC ZC..

 

mine sounds similar just not as loud at 6psi on a D16z6 but mine won't blowoff when chucking revs like that.

 

cool deal man.. I'm sure some people shall find this usefull when selecting a BOV. It kinda sounds "different" then when I've heard them on 1g dsms (vented) before.. must be the quicker revs of the zc?

You could even convert them over to mp3 format to save on space.

 

the rhb5 is mega small. It will spool boost just by revving the engine.

that's what i was going to say. Isn't that why WRX's can do that too?
Mine doesn't soudnl ike that thou.
Regular driving it has like a chirp noise
and giving it some gas a mixture or chirp and whooosh.
