I checked Ebay and there's a few for $60 or so... 1" Aluminum with plastic end tanks? They're not nearly as wide as yours though...

I have one of those, aluminum with plastic ends. its like 1/2" wider, I just had to shave my fan blades down a bit more so my charge pipes wouldn't hit. i still havn't had a chance to go try my car again yet, I did some suspension work and broke a bolt on my rear lower controll arm..so I've been down for the past 2 days waiting for the new bushing and bolt...sucks!

Well... It's been a few days since mine heated up last.
All told, I replaced the thermostat, radiator cap and water pump. I also tightened up the timing belt a little, took off the rubber strip along the back part of the engine bay/hood and purged the heck out of my cooling system. Coolant is not backing up into the overflow anymore and seems to have stabilized...

blown head gasket have tendency to be all fine at normal driving ad heating up fast under boost.
I had that problem,
Now I have no thermostat and the radiator fan has a switch soo its constantly ON
No thermostat makes your car heat up longer but there is better coolant flow..
Also its good to use some nice coolant product and not... any nearest tape water

i've concluded it's a blown HG, as much as I didn't want that to be the case, I was seeing quite a bit of oil mixed in with my radiator fluid 
...so I started ripping it apart tonight. I think that the worst part about it all is just getting started. I'm hoping to have the rest of it off early morning and maybe even almost finish it by noon, who knows.

omg... doing a hg on a d series.. is like a 30-40 min job... dont think about it to much just take the head off
, replace the hg... make sure its on tdc and put the timing belt back.. on.. i think the hardest part is taking off that ------- bracket that holds the head to the block.. have fun
