Default Oval manifold ports-round pipe
What is the easiest way to mate a round pipe to an oval port on an Exh manifold flange? The Oval is 2 1/4" wide and only 1 1/2" tall. Mild steel flange mild steel pipe.

you can heat it up then squeeze it in a huge bench vise

The way i did it with ease was to heat up the pipe that needs to be ovaled(sp) in a bench vise, and keept it warm as you slowly compress it until it is at the desired shape.

damn if it didn't bend in a perfect oval matching exactly the flange port.

How about when trying to use pipe fittings instead of exhuast pipe? They aren't really Bendable are they?

you just need a big enough vise and heat the ---- out of the pipe

I am inclined to just use 16 gauge mild steel mandrel bends. Wouldn't that work?

Oh, it's for twin 14B turbos on a V6.
